Trouble with heirloom seed company
I ordered a bunch of seeds and tools from http://www.heirloomacresseeds.com/ and that was over three weeks ago. My card was promptly charged and when I emailed about shipping. Nothing. 6 email attempts later still nothing. Not one response from them. Anyone do business with them? I am going to give them a bit more time before reversing the charge on my card. Hope you all had good experience with them and that maybe they are having some sort of issue with email.

Re: Trouble with heirloom seed company
It is an internet business. It should answer email which, gee whiz is internet communication. Why should I spend my dime calling them when email should be just as effective and you now have no question to who said what. I bought over the internet, I communicate over the internet! One shouldn't own an internet business if one can't use email!!!

Re: Trouble with heirloom seed company
I placed an order first of Feb. They sent a reply saying there is a min. of 4 week delivery. For some reason that order was never filled, nor was my account charged. First of April I placed another order. Received the same reply. Received my order 3 weeks later. All I ordered was the Victory Garden package and a book.

Re: Trouble with heirloom seed company
I ordered from them last year. Took a long time & they never responded to my emails. Shorted me one pack from the order. Didn't feel like trying to contact them because of the hassle involved. Missing pack came a few weeks later.
I don't think they're crooks, just not terribly good business folks. |
Re: Trouble with heirloom seed company
Well they finally answered my emails this morning and are shipping my stuff. Sounds like they mostly farm and this is a side thing so that's what ya get when ya let the chickens on the net to watch things :D May try another company next time.

Re: Trouble with heirloom seed company
I used peaceful valley......Groworganic.com
Bought transplants, seeds, transplant starter trays, pesticide & fertilizer , quick response, transplants took awhile as stated so no surprise, but out of 32 plants only 8-10 survived , there was shipping damage.....customer service was/is excellent (made good the bad plants with refund) and by most accounts they are a reputable/respected company. They are located in grass valley California |
